Hi, I’m Shania, the girl behind the camera. 🤍 I’m a wife, mama to two beautiful girls, & a homeschool mama. When I’m not taking photos or chasing my girls around, you can usually find me at the gym, which has become one of my favorite ways to take a little time for myself.

Photography started as a simple passion for me, wanting to preserve the moments that seem to pass by way too quickly. The tiny hands that won’t stay tiny, the growing baby bump, the laughs shared between loved ones, & all of the little details that make your family yours.

It honestly started with me taking pictures on my phone, like so many moms do. I’ve always loved capturing the everyday moments, but eventually I decided to take that love a little further & really learn photography. What started as something I enjoyed quickly became something I couldn’t imagine not doing.

That’s why I created Story + Still Photography, to give families a place to slow down for a moment & have those seasons of life captured just as they are. I’m not here to create a bunch of perfectly posed moments. I want to capture the real smiles, the giggles, the in-between moments, & the little things you may not realize you’ll miss someday.
